Product documents

The Product Documents section in Handify provides a centralized location for managing and accessing all documents related to your products. This section allows you to easily search, filter, and view product documents, ensuring that you always have the most up-to-date and relevant information at your fingertips.

Searching for Product Documents:

  1. Navigate to the Product Documents section in Handify.

  2. In the search bar, enter the product name or product code for which you want to find associated documents.

  3. Click the desired document to display it and/or download it.

Filtering Product Documents

  1. In the Product Documents section, you will see a list of all available document types in the bottom of the search field.

  2. To filter the documents by a specific type, simply click on the corresponding type of document.

  3. The list of product documents will dynamically update to display only the selected document types.

  4. To clear the search, click on the Remove Filters button.

Combining Search and Filters

  1. You can use the search functionality in combination with the document type filters to find specific documents more quickly.

  2. Enter the product name or code in the search bar, and then select the desired document types from the filter options.

  3. Handify will display only the documents that match both the search criteria and the selected document types.

Viewing and Managing Product Documents

  1. Once you have found the desired product document using search or filters, click on the document title to open it.

  2. Handify supports various document formats, such as PDF, Word, Excel, and images, allowing you to view the content directly within the platform.

  3. If you have the necessary permissions, you can also edit, or delete product documents from this section.

Keeping Product Documents Up to Date

  1. Handify ensures that all users have access to the most recent versions of product documents.

  2. Whenever a document is updated or replaced, the changes will be immediately reflected in the Product Documents section.

Visibility of Document Expiration

  1. Handify helps you stay on top of document expiration dates, ensuring that you are always using valid and compliant documentation.

  2. In the Product Documents section, you will see an "Expiration Date" column that displays the expiration date for each document.

  3. Documents that are nearing their expiration date will be highlighted in orange, while expired documents will be marked in red.

By leveraging the search and filter capabilities in the Product Documents section, you can quickly find and access the specific documents you need, saving time and effort in your daily workflows. This section serves as a single source of truth for all product-related documentation, enhancing collaboration and ensuring consistency across your organization.
