Customizing Industry, Application, and Function Attributes

The product attribute template in Handify includes several key attributes that help categorize and classify your products based on their industry, application, function and others. These attributes are essential for enabling effective product filtering, searching, and recommendation capabilities within the platform.

However, we understand that every business is unique, and the default options provided in the template may not cover all the specific industries, applications, or functions relevant to your products. To accommodate this, Handify allows admin users to easily customize and expand these attributes to fit their exact needs.

Customizing Industry, Application, and Function Attributes:

  1. Navigate to the Team Settings within Handify and locate the "Product Attributes" section.

  2. Find the attribute you wish to modify (Industry, Application, or Function) and click on the "Edit" button.

  3. In the attribute settings, you will see the default options provided by Handify. To add a new option, simply click on the "Add Option" button and enter the name of the new industry, application, or function.

  4. If an existing option is no longer relevant or needs to be modified, you can easily edit or delete it from the list.

  5. Once you have made all the necessary changes, click "Update" to update the attribute options.

  6. The new options will now be available for selection when creating or editing product records in Handify.

By customizing the Industry, Application, and Function attributes to match your specific business context, you can ensure that your product data is accurately categorized and easily discoverable within the platform. This empowers your sales team to quickly find and recommend the most relevant products to your customers, ultimately leading to a more efficient and effective sales process.

Remember to regularly review and update these attribute options as your business evolves and new industries, applications, or functions become relevant to your product offering.
